Each Saturday, starting August
29th, are scheduled fall event days. Ages 4 through
12 are the focus on these days and of course Mom,
Dad, Grandma and Grandpa. The festival Saturdays
run through Sept 26th, concluding on that day.
See the news letter for new attractions. The Market
remains open into November on Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday and closes the Saturday following Thanksgiving
Day.

August 29. Free tour day.
Enjoy a guided walking tour of the orchard and
grounds. Apple trees, bee yard, petting zoo, cider
mill, and different orchard works will be explained.
Also , how to preserve apples by canning, freezing,
cold packing and drying. 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m.,
1:00 p.m. Last 1 hour.
September 5. Baking with Apples
and Decorating Cookies. Learn how to fix apple crisp
the old way and the fast way. Kids have hands on
experience decorating the cookies. Other related
apple fix’ns will be discussed. 10 a.m., 11:30
a.m., and 1:00 p.m.
September 12. Kid’s Activity
and Carnival Day. Join your children in the fun
of competition in different events such as apple
batting, apple balance, and apple obstacle course.
Each person will receive a certificate of completion.
Plus the Creek Road Carnival comes to the Orchard.
10 a.m. through 2 p.m.
September 19. Cider Pressing and
Honey Extraction.If the bees do well we will have
the extractor going and if not then we will show
and tell about bees and honey. 10 am to 4 pm. Cider
pressing ends at 2 pm.
September 26. Pumpkin Decorating
and Caramel Apple dippin. Have some family fun and
take a pumpkin home for decorating. Caramel apples
are dipped for the youngsters (under 12) with their
choice of toppings. 10 am to 4 pm.
Month of October. There are no advanced planned
events this month. Weather permitting we will still
gear activities towards the 12 and under age group.
Every weekend the petting zoo, play area, walking
trails and pinic areas are open. Wagon rides will
be determined on that day pending weather and qualified
